With civil litigation, we handle private disputes that typically do not directly involve the criminal system. These lawsuits involve money damages as well as non-monetary relief. They include personal injury cases (such as motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death), and business/commercial disputes. These cases may involve injunctions, which are court rulings to have somebody either do or refrain from doing something. They also may be judicial declarations, which are court rulings that interpret rights and obligations under written documents and statutes.

In criminal defense, we represent people who have been accused of committing a crime. As lawyers, our primary goal is to protect your rights and interests, from the time you are arrested up to your trial (and beyond trial if your matter needs to be appealed). As your trusted counsel, we use constitutional guarantees — such as law enforcement being prohibited from using unreasonable searches and seizures to gather evidence — to your case’s advantage. We strive for the most favorable outcome possible, which could be a plea bargain for a reduced sentence, probation instead of jail time, or charges being dropped altogether.
